Clues that work in December

Holiday cards reward specific memories. “The year the turkey caught fire” beats “a bad dinner”, and a named film lands far more precisely than “a Christmas movie”.

Mixed ages at the table? Let grandparents and kids sit on the same team: one knows the old carols, the other knows every animated special.

FAQ

Is there a Christmas edition of Wavelength?
There’s no official Christmas box, so we wrote our own holiday cards. They are built into this free fan-made online version, and you can also print them as extra cards for the board game.
Can we play Christmas Wavelength with family in different houses?
Yes. Start a room, share the 4-letter code in the family chat, and everyone plays from their own phone or laptop while you talk on a video call.
Are the holiday prompts OK for kids?
Yes, the holiday pack is family-friendly. For very young players, add the Kids pack in the room settings so the cards stay simple.
How long does a game take?
Around 30–45 minutes to reach 10 points. The host can lower the target score to 5 for a quick game between dinner and dessert.
